The Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) or "AAIS", a non-profit organisation, is a leading industry association for the Aerospace Industry in Singapore that represents companies from the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sector, Aerospace Manufacturing sector, Research and Development / Training sectors and suppliers for civil air transport and aerospace defence. CREST is jointly established by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and DSO National Laboratories (DSO). CREST brings together systems engineering expertise in DSO and scientific expertise in NTU. The Centre for Remote Imaging, Sensing and Processing (CRISP) was established in 1992 at the National University of Singapore as a research centre of the National Science and Technology Board (now known as A*STAR). CRISP’s mission is to develop an advanced capability in remote sensing to meet the scientific, operational, and business requirements in the region.
CRISP operates a ground station to receive and process images from remote sensing satellites, and actively undertakes research in remote sensing technology and applications.
