Asia Pacific Alliance of Space Trade Associations (AASTA)
Uniting space trade associations to accelerate the mainstreaming of space in the region.
The Asia Pacific Alliance of Space Trade Associations (AASTA) is a first-of-its-kind industry-led collaborative platform in Asia Pacific that brings together leading space trade associations to accelerate the mainstreaming of space in the region.
AASTA drives the growth of the Asia Pacific space industry while connecting with peer associations in North America, Europe, and emerging markets to ensure the region is fully integrated into the global space ecosystem.
“AASTA is a game-changer for the commercialisation and internationalisation of the space industry. By aligning leading industry associations under a common platform, we are creating the infrastructure to match businesses at scale, while also giving startups practical pathways to go global. This is how we move space from being a niche industry to becoming a mainstream economic driver across all sectors.”

AASTA’s Signature Initiative: Large-scale B2B Business Matching Programme @ GSTCE
One of AASTA’s initiatives is its large-scale B2B business matching programme at the Global Space Technology Convention and Exhibition (GSTCE) 2026, designed to catalyse partnerships on an unprecedented global scale. GSTCE 2026 will take place in Singapore on 13–14 May 2026.
As Asia’s premier space industry gathering, GSTCE 2026 will bring together over 1,500 delegates from 40+ countries under the theme: “Commercialising Space: Driving Economic Value Across Industries.” The event provides an ideal marketplace where space and non-space players converge to create real commercial outcomes.
Join thousands-strong APAC space industry members at GSTCE to spark cross-border partnerships, drive investment, and create real commercial outcomes between space and non-space companies.
The B2B marketplace at GSTCE 2026 kicks off with curated roundtable discussions on the key themes driving commercial deals in space:
- Non-space sectors: climate resilience, smart cities, oil & gas
- Space-for-space: commercial space station infrastructure, orbital data centres and in-space manufacturing
- Diversification of supply chains: partnerships across Asia Pacific
These discussions are followed by matchmaking and speed-dating sessions, giving companies the chance to connect, collaborate, and make real business deals across AASTA member countries.
