Lianhe Zaobao 三名理工生对太空与卫星技术很感兴趣,设计了利用卫星技术的赈灾通信方案。他们所设计的求救电话利用高空伪卫星进行通信,救援中心可通过卫星导航确认求救电话的所在地。 三名理工学院学生设计利用卫星通信的求救电话,可让灾民在电信中断的情况下拨电求助,实用可行的点子获得青睐,在“人道援助与赈灾挑战赛”中脱颖而出。 淡马锡理工学院航空航天电子系学生傅夏娜李(19岁,中)说,三人是同个科系的同学,对太空与卫星技术很感兴趣,在课程负责人的建议下参加比赛,设计利用卫星技术的赈灾通信方案。 她与队友蔡文峰(19岁,右)和张隽言(20岁,左)设计的求救电话是利用空中客车公司的Zephyr高空伪卫星进行通信,救援中心也可通过卫星导航确认求救电话的所在地。 傅夏娜李说,求救电话可预先设置在会发生天灾的地区,或是由赈灾人员从空中投下。 蔡文峰说:“太空和我们的科系——航空航天系相当有关……我对外太空感兴趣已经有好一段时间了,间中也参加过几个比赛了解卫星技术。” 这次的比赛是由空中客车与新加坡太空与科技协会联合举办,旨在设计方案,利用卫星技术协助赈灾与救援工作,共有15个队伍参赛,其中11队来自新加坡,其余的来自马来西亚与印度尼西亚。 得奖队伍可免费到法国参观空中客车国防与太空设施,了解航空航天业的最新的顶尖科技。 傅夏娜李说:“我们很意外也很开心……感觉这是很重大的奖励,我们可以继续往这方面发展。这是一个新的开始,我很兴奋。” Link to article
