Dr. Masafumi Muratani, Ph.D. is a  Professor in the Department of Genome Biology, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tsukuba.

He graduated with a PhD from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Watson School of Biological Sciences and a B.Sc. from the University of Tsukuba, College of Biological Science. He is currently researching technology development for genomics analysis of limited samples.
