Leng Ying Khoo is a PhD candidate in Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder/Laboratory for Atmospheric Space Physics. She earned her BSE degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan in 2016. She is currently the instrument scientist on the CIRBE mission, a NASA sponsered CubeSat mission that is scheduled to launch in 2022. In addition to instrument design, her graduate research involves the analysis of Van Allen Probes data to improve the understanding of the dynamics of radiation belt electrons.
