Dr. Pakorn Apaphant is the leader of a national space agency in Thailand, GISTDA. Prior to this role, he served as an executive committee member for governmental offices with academic and political dimensions as well as for private businesses. Dr. Pakorn is currently one of Thailand’s key leaders in the country’s space law and new space economy. He is appointed to be a Chair of Committee on Earth Observation Satellite in 2023; and connects the organization with worldwide space agencies and stakeholders to foster global links between business and academia to represent Thailand in international space initiatives.
