2026 Workshops
Workshops will once again run in parallel with the main conference sessions at GSTCE 2026, taking place on 13–14 May 2026.
Workshops are complimentary for VIPs and delegates holding full access passes.
Designed to complement the main stage discussions, these workshops provide a deeper dive into specialised topics, allowing attendees to explore practical applications of space technologies across a range of industries. Participants can engage more interactively with experts, unpack real-world use cases, and gain actionable insights without missing key highlights from the broader programme.
These engaging sessions, will be led by industry experts and partners, offering focused discussions tailored to specific sectors and emerging opportunities.
Space for Defence & Maritime | 3pm – 5pm
This workshop explores how satellite technologies are supporting maritime domain awareness, defence operations, and critical infrastructure protection. The session will bring together satellite operators, technology providers, defence stakeholders and Maritime companies to discuss real operational use cases including vessel tracking, detection of illegal activities, secure communications, and monitoring of strategic assets. Come join us for this session if you would like to learn about advanced capabilities in satellite surveillance, Earth observation, and secure communications used for monitoring and defence applications, and connect with key stakeholders in the maritime and defence sectors shaping the future of space-enabled security.

Challenge Statements in Action: Unlocking Space-Enabled Innovation | 10am – 11.30am
How Governments and Corporates in Singapore Are Looking for Space-Enabled Solutions
This workshop explores the intersection of space technology and real-world industrial needs, highlighting how government bodies like IMDA and Hatch (Home Team Science and Technology Agency’s Innovation Centre for Public Safety) connect space-enabled solutions with corporate and government agencies’ problem statements across a variety of industries. Participants will gain insight into the Open Innovation Platform (OIP) and the Singapore Space Lab’s role in bridging the gap between high-tech providers and sectors such as logistics, infrastructure, and sustainability. Through diverse case studies—ranging from Yara’s use of satellite mapping for precision agriculture to deployment of advanced connectivity for homeland security—the session demonstrates the practical application of space-enabled solutions. The program concludes with a focus on broader organizational growth, featuring digital transformation initiatives from the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises and critical Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) use cases presented by Mercy Relief.
