Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Challenge

A collaboration between World Bank and SSTL, the challenge taps into the ingenuity of SpaceTech companies to find novel and translatable solutions.

This challenge supports the Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Insurance Facility (SEADRIF), and seeks functioning solutions using satellite imagery to improve real time information about the risk and extent of flooding across ASEAN.

Excite and engage individuals from all walks of life, corporates and students about space and its applications through talks, workshops and an academy, conducted by experts.

SSTL put together a curated satellites training programme which teaches the basic theories and a hands-on experience of assembling a small satellite.
