23 September 2019 – MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE NEAR SPACE EXPERIMENTS PROGRAMME (NSEP) 2019 SUCCEEDS

This joint initiative is the first-of-its-kind – two high-altitude balloons were launched to collect valuable data  on space photography, real time flight telemetry and smart material properties.

More than 600 industry professionals and leaders of global space agencies are expected to be in attendance at this platform for the fast-evolving Asian space industries, for new business partnerships and opportunities.

14 February 2019 – AIRBUS-SSTA HADR CHALLENGE 2019 WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Team BELUGA from Temasek Polytechnic wins the second edition of the Airbus-SSTA HADR Challenge with their proposal for the SOS phone, a multi-functional product that uses satellite communication technology to aid rescue efforts.

14 February 2019 – SINGAPORE SPACE CHALLENGE 2019 WINNERS ANNOUNCED 

The grand prize of S$10,000 is won by a team of five. The group, named ‘T0X1C V4P0R’, proposed a new satellite constellation, SCSNEEO, to seamlessly disseminate data gathered to add value to Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.
