Space Life Sciences Challenge
The Space Life Sciences Challenge is a proposed annual design competition organized by Singapore Space and Technology Limited (SSTL). The outreach initiative aims to challenge researchers from academia, corporate, and start-ups to develop real-world solutions towards advancing space life science research and to propose novel ideas with translatable benefits to life on Earth and/or in space.
Objectives
- To provide a platform for corporate start-ups and researchers to develop real-world solutions with translatable benefits to Earth and/or Space for challenges faced by the biomedical industry
- To provide opportunities for researchers to propose novel ideas to advance biomedical and life science research
- To promote to the biomedical industry and the public the ways that space research can improve biomedical and genomics research, and vice versa
- To create a pipeline for space life sciences research in Singapore
