Next in the lineup of our team member spotlight series is one of our interns, Deronn Len. When he isn’t busy being an Aeronautical Engineering student at Singapore Polytechnic or being at SSTL, Deronn plays Frisbee on Singapore’s national team. He shares more below!
How did you adjust to the circuit breaker period?
As someone who likes being outdoors as well as some who regularly participates in sport activities, working from home was tough to adjust to. I had to create my own workout routine to keep up my fitness levels and sacrifice any outdoor activities.
This being your first office-based internship, how has the experience been so far?
I have decided to pick up this internship opportunity solely because it is something I have never done before. With that being said, not once have I regretted joining as I have learnt many different crucial soft skills so far.
Tell us more about being a national frisbee player?
In order to compete at nationals, a lot of dedication is required on my part. I have 4 four training sessions in one week, one of which is fitness training. With each training averaging around 3 to 4 hours, I have to juggle around with things like school work and projects.
