Introduction

Have an aspiring astronaut at home? Or simply looking for fun and educational activities to engage your child during the Summer holidays?

Join our Summer camps and get your children acquainted with the cool and fascinating outer space! Through specially curated modules, students will learn what it takes to live in Space, how satellites and orbits work and get a chance to build their own water rockets. Other exciting activities include a field trip, learning how to code and more!

Junior Space Camp (Physical)

Age: 9 to 12 years old

Time: 3-Day Physical Camp, 9am to 4.30pm

  • The course will introduce students to topics e.g. what it takes for interplanetary travel, rockets, landing on a planet, and rover technologies.

Take the first step towards the future of space by joining these highly interactive modules, where space and computing concepts are taught through games!

Students will develop a better understanding of how a computer thinks from start to finish, learn the basics of the block-based visual programme language “Scratch”, and understanding the application of coding in the space environment.

What Participants Need

• Computer with internet connection, video camera and microphone function
• Lessons will be conducted via a learning platform, participants will be informed of the details nearer to the date of the camp.
• All cadets will receive a digital copy of all class materials. If a hardcopy of the class materials is preferred, do let us know by email or text.
